How recruiting works
Every prospect is built by the same talent & attribute model as the players already on rosters (serve, return, groundstrokes, physical/mental traits) — they're just younger, so less of their ceiling is visible yet. The pool that feeds each division is centred at that level: D2 Men prospects run hotter than D2/D3, exactly like the rostered players do.
- Generation. A 400-player class per gender & grad year, ~35% international, each with a hidden development ceiling and a visible current ability (shown as STR).
- Consensus board. Rank = 60% visible current ability + 40% the scouting service's noisy read of the ceiling — so the board mis-ranks late bloomers (gems) and early peakers (busts).
- Star tiers are count-based: Blue Chip = top 25 · 5★ 26–75 · 4★ 76–200 · 3★ 201–400.
- Offers & commitment. Open any prospect for their College List — the real D2 Men programs (by Power Index) that fit their level draw interest, with a StrikePrediction commit-% favourite, a Dreamsheet, and a recruiting timeline.
